What you will learn

  • Clarify their personal burnout pattern (common triggers, rules/shoulds, coping behaviours, and longer-term costs)

  • Practise ACT-informed strategies for responding to moral distress, values conflict, and high-pressure moments with greater flexibility

  • Use brief micro-restoration practices (1–2 minutes) to support nervous system recovery during the workday

  • Draft a simple end-of-day “closure” routine to reduce rumination and emotional carryover

  • Implement values-based boundaries using practical scripts and small policy tweaks

  • Leave with a realistic 2–4 week implementation plan and templates designed for low-capacity days
